11-36

अर्जुन उवाच -
स्थाने हृषीकेश तव प्रकीर्त्या
जगत् प्रहृष्यति अनुरज्यते च ।
रक्षाम्सि भीतानि दिशो द्रवन्ति
सर्वे नमस्यन्ति च सिद्ध सङ्घाः ॥ ३६ ॥

arjuna uvAca -
sthAne hRSIkeza tava prakIrtyA
jagat prahRSyati anurajyate ca |
rakSAmsi bhItAni dizo dravanti
sarve namasyanti ca siddha saGghAH || 36 ||

अर्जुन उवाच [arjuna uvAca] Arjuna said- हृषीकेश [hRSIkeza] Krishna, स्थाने [sthAne] it’s appropriate that जगत् [jagat] the world प्रहृष्यति [prahRSyati] experiences joy, अनुरज्यते च [anurajyate ca] devotion and affection तव प्रकीर्त्य [tava prakIrtya] through Your praise. रक्षाम्सि [rakSAmsi] Those who exploit for personal gain दिशो द्रवन्ति भीतानि [dizo dravanti bhItAni] scatter and run in fear. सर्वे [sarve] All सिद्ध सङ्घाः [siddha saGghAH] types of virtuous people नमस्यन्ति च [namasyanti ca] bow to You.

It is appropriate that the virtuous who have come to witness the war, such as the gods , the achievers, the pleasant and benevolent, those with knowledge, musicians and other beings take joy in your praise. They adore You and are devoted to You.

On the other hand, people who cause hardships for personal gain will scatter and run in fear on seeing You.

All types of virtuous people bow to You. They are the favorable ones. This is the way the world is. Indeed, it is appropriate.
