For Eternal Beginners
श्रद्धावान् अनसूयुः च शृणुयात् अपि यो नरः ।
सोऽपि मुक्तः शुभान् लोकान् प्राप्नुयात् पुण्यकर्मणाम् ॥ ७१ ॥
zraddhAvAn anasUyuH ca zRNuyAt api yo naraH |
so'pi muktaH zubhAn lokAn prApnuyAt puNyakarmaNAm || 71 ||
अपि [api] Even यो नरः [yo naraH] a person who शृणुयात् [zRNuyAt] listens श्रद्धावान् [zraddhAvAn] with conviction च अनसूयुः [ca anasUyuH] and without mistrust, which comes from jealousy - सः अपि [saH api] even that person will get rid of flaws that come in the way of devotion प्राप्नुयात् [prApnuyAt] and shall attain शुभान् लोकान् [zubhAn lokAn] the auspicious places पुण्यकर्मणाम् [puNyakarmaNAm] of the virtuous.
Listen to someone who shares.
A person could simply listen with conviction, free from mistrust that comes out of jealousy.
Just by listening in this manner, he shall be free of flaws that come in the way of devotion and shall join the abode of My virtuous devotees - he will be among them.
