2-37

हतो वा प्राप्स्यसे स्वर्गम् जित्वा वा भोक्ष्यसे महीम् ।
तस्मात् उत्तिष्ठ कौन्तेय युद्धाय कृतनिश्चयः ॥ ३७ ॥

hato vA prApsyase svargam jitvA vA bhokSyase mahIm |
tasmAt uttiSTha kaunteya yuddhAya kRtanizcayaH || 37 ||

हतो वा [hato vA] Even if you get killed, स्वर्गम् प्राप्स्यसे [svargam prApsyase] you will attain heaven. जित्वा वा [jitvA vA] If you win the war, महीम् भोक्ष्यसे [mahIm bhokSyase] you will enjoy your kingdom. तस्मात् [tasmAt] Hence, कौन्तेय [kaunteya] Arjuna, उत्तिष्ठ [uttiSTha] get up युद्धाय कृतनिश्चयः [yuddhAya kRtanizcayaH] with the determination to fight.

Duty is superior to hesitation and inaction – irrespective of the outcome.

If you are killed by your enemy in a righteous war, that is reason enough for you to attain unmatched glory. If you kill your enemies, you shall rule your kingdom without any obstacles. The duty of war is a way to attain unmatched glory, when it is performed without attachment to its outcome. You shall attain such glory.

Hence, make up your mind that the work of war is a means to attain the ultimate goal a person is meant to achieve: moksha . Get up for that cause. Being the son of Kunti, this alone is the appropriate action for you - that is the opinion expressed here.
